The Tour:

Learn the WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE and WHY black slaves were promised 40 acres and a borrowed mule... We will visit the locations where it all happened (Massacre of Ebenezer Creek and Special Field Orders No.15) to truly understand and experience why reparations for the Descendants of Chattel Slavery is necessary today...

GET ON THE BUS:

2pm - Transportation pick up at Wally Park Atlanta Airport Park & Ride

6pm - Transportation drop off at Courtyard by Marriott, Savannah Airport (additional group hotels available)

7pm - 8:30pm Meet & Greet Dinner / Game Night with Griot Speaks

FRIDAY: TOUR DAY 1

TOUR ONLY / GET ON THE BUS:

9am - Transportation pick up at Courtyard by Marriott, Savannah Airport or group hotel

10am - Tour Green-Meldrim House / Historical Marker: History of Emancipation

12pm - Tour First African Baptist Church

1pm - Boxed lunch from Belford's

2:30pm - Tour First Bryan Baptist Church

4:30pm - Historical Marker Stops: Laurel Grove Cemetery / Weeping Time

5:30pm: Return to Courtyard by Marriott, Savannah Airport or group hotel

SATURDAY: TOUR DAY 2

TOUR ONLY / GET ON THE BUS:

8:30am - Transportation pickup at Courtyard by Marriott, Savannah Airport or group hotel

9am - Tour Ebenezer Museum OR kayak or canoe on Ebenezer Creek with

Backwater Expeditions.

12:00pm - Boxed lunch from Belford's

2pm - Wreath Laying Ceremony w/ Effingham County NAACP

5pm - Return to Courtyard by Marriott, Savannah Airport or group hotel

SUNDAY: Return to Atlanta, Macon and Ellabell

GET ON THE BUS:

10:30am - Worship/Brunch at a Reparations Sunday affiliate church.

1:30pm - Return to Wally Park Atlanta Airport Park & Ride
