Let's walk through the footsteps of history with an experience you won't ever forget!

 

Get on the charted bus from Atlanta OR meet us in Savannah, Georgia to learn the WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE and WHY black slaves were promised 40 acres and a borrowed mule... We will visit the locations where it all happened (Massacre of Ebenezer Creek and Special Field Orders 15) to truly understand and experience why reparations for the Descendants of Chattel Slavery is a DEBT owed today...

 

This is a weekend journey through time and a Reparations Sunday fundraiser in preparation for the reintroduction of a reparations bill in the United States Congress... (Register now. Seating is limited.)​

DAY 1 ITINERARY:

2pm - Charter Bus pick up at Atlanta Airport Park & Ride

6pm - Charter bus drop off at Courtyard by Marriott, Savannah Airport (hotel costs not included in fee/discount rate available)

DAY 2 ITINERARY:

8:00am - Charter bus pick up at Courtyard by Marriott, Savannah Airport

9:00am - Tour First African Baptist Church 

10:00am - Tour Green Meldrim House  / Historical Marker: History of Emancipation

11:30am - Tour First Bryan Baptist Church

1:30pm - Lunch at Geneva's Chicken & Cornbread (not included in fee)

3pm - Historical Marker Stops: Weeping Time / Laurel Grove Cemetery

5pm: Return to Courtyard by Marriott, Savannah Airport

DAY 3 ITINERARY:

8:30am - Charter bus pickup at Courtyard by Marriott, Savannah Airport

9:00am - Tour Ebenezer Museum OR (for an additional fee) 

Backwater Expeditions to kayak or canoe on Ebenezer Creek. 

12pm - LUNCH at Southern Kafe on 17 (not included in fee)

2pm - Attend the Effingham County Ebenezer Creek Massacre Ceremony 

4pm - Return to Courtyard by Marriott, Savannah Airport

5pm - 9pm Bus drop-off and pick-up on River Street in Savannah

DAY 4 ITINERARY:

8:30am - Charter bus pickup a Courtyard by Marriott, Savannah Airport

10:30 am - Worship Service Mount Hope AME Church, Macon GA

1pm - Return to Atlanta Airport Park & Ride
