REPARATIONS
SUNDAY
“And when thou sendest him out free from thee, thou shalt not let him go away empty. Thou shalt furnish him liberally out of thy flock, and out of thy floor, and out of thy winepress: of that wherewith the Lord thy God hath blessed thee thou shalt give unto him.”
-Deuteronomy 15:13 -14
WHAT IS REPARATIONS SUNDAY?
THE MISSION
The Mission of Reparations Sunday is to connect the socially conscious who are engaged in the fight for reparations with churches who are willing to lead or fight alongside them for social change... We are fighting for the Descendants of Chattel Slavery in America.
THE WHY
The church is the cornerstone of the community, but over time the church has lost its significance in the lives of generations of people, mostly young and socially conscious. These generations are very engaged in current affairs and social justice issues but find very little support and solace in the arms of the church.
THE HOW
Reparations Sunday works in two ways:
(1) Reparations Sunday connects Believers and those seeking to find a church home with churches engaged in reparations initiatives for the Descendants of Chattel Slavery.

(2) Reparations Sunday works alongside churches with state-to-state and national reparations initiatives.
